great video.. But you should have vacuumed the lines before releasing the gas... i installed one.. and it even noted in the instructions to vacuum the lines... so you have less of a chance of getting vacuum lock in the lines and will last longer..

For a lot less money and far greater utility a solar inverter and battery back up would provide AC power to your whole shed, including your mini split, which can also be had for less. What happens when it rains or when the sun goes down?

I have a dual zone water furnace for about 15.5 years that has gone through maybe a dozen damper actuators in that time. Is this normal for a dual zone Water Furnace? I have the same type of Water Furnace control board like in this video but my actuators are different from the ones I saw in your video. If this isn't normal then could the model of actuator be my issue for going through so many actuators?

The power company’s voltage range is +- 5%. Higher than 5%, contact your power company to fix your voltage. They can put a recored on your power and pinpoint voltage issues. Anything could be called a solar system air conditioner if you got enough solar power you can power a 10 ton rooftop air conditioner so why do you get when you guys with your solar stuff like these guys that want to sell you a solar generator nothing but a battery with an inverter but they call it a solar generator cuz you can charge it with a solar cell no shit

Thanks. I have a GEO Thermo water furnace. It is approx 25 years old. It is a Premier. It keeps shutting off and the red light comes on and flashes. I reset it twice and it keeps shutting down. Do not know the problem.

I use a minisplit inverter air conditioner on my solar system. It's a 12k unit works great. These things are automatically soft start. No surge starting. When cooling or heating is called for the unit ramps up very slowly. Instead of cycling the unit just slows down and will finally shutdown when not called for at all. These are the absolute best kind of heat pump to be used off solar.

Hey Tad, I just installed this unit in central FL on my 1989 Carrier 2.5 T R-22 Heat pump and I got some different results than what you got with yours. My system is rated for 82 LRA and 16.5 RLA respectively. My actual LRA at start up was 84 prior to install and after it went down to only 16.03 but my unit goes into the delay mode for about 3 to 4 minutes before allowing the compressor to kick on while the fan motor is already running. The RLA also was cut in half to only 7.5 when the system is cooling. I have a newer fan motor on the heat pump and a newer 45/5 capacitor on this system and also it used to have a hard starter to help the compressor. Once again, this is from 1989! There are controversies about this unit saving you on your electric bill and what is your take on this?

In my opinion before open the ports to me need to bleed air from the lines, or make vacuum at the lines

Seems to be a trend with a lot of appliance manufactures. No quality control and make it in the cheapest place with the cheapest materials. Get your customers to replace twice as often as a quality made piece of equipment
